At the same time that life is crazy with the addition of Shadow, her presence - and the need to walk with her - gives me pause. The South Tacoma community park, morning sun shining through the trees.

This is Seymour and Seymour Jr. Seymour started out as a discarded leaf left over from a disheveled move and failed first marriage. 12 years later he stands 12 feet tall and has survived two more moves. Seymour Jr. was discovered sprouting about a year ago.
